Directions

Leave the M4 at Junction 11 and follow the A33 towards Reading town centre. Turn onto Basingstoke Road, then Elgar Road South, and Britten Road takes you into the Robert Cort Industrial Estate — we’re roughly 1½ miles from the motorway. Sitting right on the A33 corridor, we’re straightforward to find from any direction.

Do SevenDay manufacture the windows?

We don’t manufacture in-house. Instead, every window we supply through our Reading depot is made by one of our approved fabrication partners. Before any fabricator joins our network, we audit them thoroughly to ensure they’re reliable and consistently produce quality products. And because we buy as a group — around 2,500 frames in an average week — we secure pricing that benefits every customer across all our depots.

What are your lead times?

Lead times depend on the product. As a guide, standard white uPVC windows are typically ready within 10 days, and standard coloured windows within 15 days. For an accurate lead time on your specific order, speak to the team at our Reading depot.

What makes SevenDay different from other trade counters?

No. There are no minimum order values or quantities at SevenDay. Whether you need a single sealed unit or a full project’s worth of frames, we’re happy to help — and we serve both trade and public.

What are your opening hours?

Our Reading depot is a supply-only window and door trade counter, so our opening hours are set to suit the trade, with early starts in the morning and a close in the late afternoon. We open our doors at 7:30 AM and operate through the day until 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. We are not open at weekends, as the trade is generally not at work. If you have a query outside of these hours, drop us a note through the contact form and we’ll be sure to get straight back to you when we’re in.

Do I need an account to buy from the depot?

No account is necessary to make a purchase — both trade and public are welcome to order and buy over the counter at our Reading depot. That said, trade customers may benefit from opening an account; ask the team for details.

Can I collect from the depot, or do you deliver?

Yes — you can either collect from our Reading depot, or speak to the team to have your products delivered direct to site.

What areas does the Reading depot cover?

Our Reading depot regularly serves installers and trade customers within a 25-mile radius. If you’re just outside this, speak to your local team and see what can be done to help you.

Do I need to be a tradesperson to buy?

No — our Reading depot welcomes both trade and members of the public. Whether you’re a professional installer or a homeowner tackling a project, the team is happy to help with support, advice and completing your order with us.

What products can I buy from SevenDay?

The widest range of windows and doors, including uPVC casements (standard and flush), aluminium, composite doors, roof systems including lantern roofs, and sealed units, across leading profile systems. What window colours and finishes do you offer?

From classic white uPVC to a wide range of colour and woodgrain foils — including popular options like anthracite grey — available externally only or on both faces. The colour range varies depending on the profile system, so with the widest range available, the Reading team is confident we can match your ideal colour.

Can I order just a replacement sealed unit (the glass only)?

Yes. Our Reading depot can supply individual sealed units as well as complete windows — useful for repairs and misted-unit replacements. Make sure you specify the details of the sealed unit spacer bar for other units so they match.

Can you supply windows to my measurements?

Yes — windows are manufactured to your exact specified sizes. The Reading team is always happy to talk a measurement through before you order; our counter staff have years of experience and would rather check than see a frame come back requiring a remake due to a mis-measure.

Do you offer trade pricing / trade accounts?

Yes. Trade customers benefit from our group buying power. Speak to the team at our Reading depot about setting up a trade account.

Do you offer fitting/installation?

SevenDay is a supply-only window and door trade counter specialist, so we don’t directly offer installation services. However, as we’re the go-to supplier for many installers, you can speak to the Reading team, who will be glad to link you up with a reputable, experienced and highly reviewed installer to assist with your project needs.

Are your windows compliant with Building Regulations?

The products we supply are manufactured to meet current Building Regulations requirements. Note that compliance certification (e.g. FENSA or CERTASS) relates to installation, so for fitted work you’ll need a registered installer or Building Control sign-off. How do I pay?

Our preferred payment methods are direct BACS payment or credit/debit card for one-off purchases. If you’re a regular trade customer, we’d be happy to set up a trade account for you. It’s best to discuss your options with the team at our Reading depot.
