Korniche Roof Lanterns available supply only from SevenDay
Also available from the Korniche range:
Flood your home with natural light
A roof lantern changes the way a room feels. Where a flat roof once cut off the sky, a Korniche lantern opens it up, filling extensions, kitchens, and living spaces with natural light and giving the whole room a lighter, more spacious feel throughout the day.
Slim frames, maximum glass
The latest Korniche design uses less frame and more glass than ever, so the view up is as uninterrupted as possible. Behind the scenes, a tighter, more precisely engineered structure means the lantern holds its shape and finish for years, with a clean, contemporary look both inside and out.
Warm in winter, cool in summer
Modern Korniche lanterns are built with advanced thermal breaks and fully insulated joints, keeping the room comfortable whatever the season. Argon-filled double glazing and self-cleaning glass are standard across the range, and if your lantern faces full sun, a solar-control glass option is available to help keep the room from overheating.
Made to fit your home
No two homes are the same, and a Korniche lantern doesn’t come in a one-size-fits-all box:
- Bespoke sizes up to 6m x 4m
- Pyramid or rectangular shapes to suit your roofline
- Choice of stock or fully bespoke colours, including dual-colour finishes
- Laminated or privacy glass options where needed
Light after dark, too
For an extra touch, Korniche lanterns can be specified with fully integrated dimmable LED lighting, hidden neatly within the frame and invisible when switched off. Once the sun goes down, it highlights the structure of the lantern and gives the room a completely different atmosphere in the evening.
Built to last
- PAS24-rated for security as standard
- 10-year warranty
- Manufactured in the UK by a business with 40 years in the industry
- Minimal upkeep once installed, so you can enjoy the light without the maintenance
Ask your local SevenDay advisor about adding a Korniche roof lantern to your project. Korniche has built its reputation on two things above all: speed of fit & the stylish looks. Fewer parts, pre-assembled sections, and a system that doesn’t rely on site-cut silicone or guesswork mean installers get a clean result without eating into the job’s margin on labour. Whether it’s a new extension roof or a UPVC lantern swap-out, it’s designed to go in fast and go in right, first time.
What’s changed in the latest generation?
The current Korniche range has been re-engineered from the frame out:
- Larger spans, less visible frame, redesigned structural components let the lantern take bigger glass panels while keeping sightlines slim, which is what most clients are actually asking for now.
- Better thermal performance, upgraded polymer thermal breaks and fully insulated joints push U-values down, making building regs compliance easier without bulking out the profile.
- A tighter build overall, pre-fitted corner cleats and a built-in pre-tensioning system pull the frame together for a rigid, gap-free structure with CNC-machined aluminium keeps tolerances tight on site.
- Less mess, less time – a base-seal injection method cuts down on loose silicone, and factory-prepped kits with clear fitting instructions mean less room for error on install day.
