There are three core constructions to cover every job and budget, all either supplied in the standard colour range or can be sprayed to any RAL colour to suit your projects needs. All doors are fitted with high-security locking as standard and available to order through any of our 22 depots across England and Wales.
Composite doors combine a GRP (glass reinforced plastic) outer skin with an insulated and re-enforced core, wrapped around a solid timber sub-frame. The result is a door that outperforms standard uPVC on security and thermal efficiency, with a moulded woodgrain finish that holds its look far longer than painted timber with no rotting or repainting required.

Sapphire Foam Filled
The industries go to standard option as well as being our best-selling core. GRP skins are bonded around a high-density polyurethane foam core, keeping the door lighter to handle and straightforward to fit while still delivering strong thermal performance. The right choice for volume jobs and value-led quotes, without compromising on security or finish.
Diamond Solid Core
Built around a solid, cross-laminated engineered timber core beneath the GRP skin, rather than a foam fill. The extra mass gives a noticeably heavier, more substantial feel when the door closes, closer to a traditional timber door along with improved acoustic performance. Specify this core where a customer wants the premium weight and feel to match a high-end finish.
Galactic 70mm Twin Rebated
Our flagship door. The 70mm foam-filled slab is 59% thicker than the Sapphire and Diamond range of doors, with a twin (double) rebate that sits over the internal frame that adds a second seal around the full perimeter of the door – this is on top of the standard weather-seal.
That extra thickness and the double rebate combine to lift performance across the board: better draught exclusion, better sound insulation, and enhanced in security. Every Galactic door is built to achieve Secured by Design, the UK police-backed security standard, as standard.

Either pick one of our standard colours or select your RAL colour for your bespoke and unique colour. The norm is to have white inside so not contradicting any interior decoration, however as a bespoke spray is available you can pick any RAL of your choice – different coloured inside and out.
Option of Liniar or Veka profile frames, with multiple foil colour options inside and out to match your windows. Also a choice of door thresholds – either low threshold or extra depth to suit your internal floor height.

Frequently asked questions
Aesthetically they generally look identical, it’s the internal core that cant be seen that is the difference. With this the solid core is heavier and has slightly enhanced noise reduction qualities – apart from that the security and options are both quite similar.
Yes, all ranges above can be specified with triple glazing for improved thermal performance, typically bringing U-values down further than the double-glazed figures. Full glazing options and specifications can be seen in the brochures below – if needed your SevenDay expert can assist you with this.
