The Installers Hub: everything a window installer needs, all from the one trade counter

Windows, composite & uPVC doors, conservatories, bi-folds, roof lanterns, adhesives, sealants, foam and fixings. All from one independent trade counter, with 23 depots across England and Wales.

Eliminate overheads and work smarter with SevenDay

We carry the overheads. You keep the margin. The biggest risk most installers carry isn’t on site. It’s the unit they pay for every month, whether the phone rings or not.

Use a SevenDay depot as your trade base and the property costs sit with us, not you. No rent, no rates, no lease, no dilapidations bill. More of every job’s margin stays in your business, and your business carries far less risk.

Your premises get paid before you do

Fixed costs always come off the top. Before you keep a single pound of profit, a business with its own unit has to cover rent, rates, insurance, utilities and repairs.

Those costs don’t flex with your workload. A wet month, a slow run of quotes or a delay on lead times, and the unit still costs exactly the same. That’s how a good installer with a full diary can spend months of the year working mainly for the landlord and the council.

What a SevenDay depot takes off your books

Every cost that comes with a unit disappears from your accounts.

CostWith your own unitUsing a SevenDay depot
RentDue monthly or quarterly, usually on a multi-year leaseNothing to pay
Business ratesCharged on the unit every yearNothing to pay
Legal feesSolicitors on signing, renewal and every rent reviewNothing to pay
Repairs and maintenanceUsually yours under a full repairing leaseNothing to pay
DilapidationsA bill at lease end to put the unit back as you found itNothing to pay
Utilities, buildings insurance, securityOngoing, whether you’re busy or notNothing to pay
Cleaning and wasteOngoingNothing to pay
Waiting in for deliveriesSomeone off the tools, stuck at the unitNot needed
Skips & RecyclingManaging & payment of skips & collectionsNothing to pay

What’s left are the costs every installer has anyway: van, tools, liability insurance, phone and accounts. Small, predictable and easy to control.

Keep more of every job’s margin

A typical small trade unit can cost an installer at least £35k a year before any work is done. That’s a lot of work to be done just to pay for your own unit!

Illustrative example. Your figures will depend on your area and unit size.

Annual cost of a small trade unitAmount
Rent£16k
Business rates£6k
Time waiting in for deliveries (4 hrs a week at £25/hr)£5k
Utilities£2.5k
Repairs, cleaning and security£2k
Buildings and contents insurance£1.5k
Dilapidations (£10k spread over a 5-year lease)£2k
Lease legals (averaged per year)£0.5k
Total£35k

That’s a lot of work just to keep the doors open. Run from a SevenDay depot instead and that margin is yours from the first job in January.

Take on more work without taking on more risk

With no premises to fund, your costs rise and fall with your workload. That makes growth safer and quiet spells survivable.

  • Busy season: take on more jobs, or another fitting team, without moving to a bigger unit.
  • Quiet month: no fixed property bill waiting at the end of it.
  • Changing direction: scale up or down without a lease holding you to a building for years.

You decide how big your business gets. Your overheads don’t decide of dictate this to you.

What you get at your local SevenDay depot

A SevenDay depot gives you the backing of a national trade counter network without the overheads of running your own. We are the one-stop shop for window installers who want a reliable trade counter they can count on. Whether you’re fitting a single replacement window or a full house of double glazing with a conservatory or orangery roof, you can get the frames, the glass and every consumable for the job in one place.

We’re an independent trade counter, so we’re not tied to one manufacturer. That means you get the widest choice of systems and brands under one roof. Shop by brand or by style across windows, doors, conservatories, bifolds, lanterns and skylights, and pick up your adhesives, sealants, foam and fixings at the same time.

Our group buys over 8,000 units of frames and sealed units every week. That scale gives us real buying power, which means competitive trade prices, dependable stock and reliable lead times for you. It’s why so many installers have made SevenDay their trade counter of choice.

The Installers Hub brings together everything that makes SevenDay worth the trip: our product range, the support behind it, and the extras that save you time, space and money on every job.

Spend your margin on your business, not your building.

Find your nearest SevenDay depot and talk to the team about opening a trade account. Same products, trade pricing and a local team, with none of the property costs.

Shop by brand

Because we’re independent, we source from leading system houses and manufacturers rather than a single profile. Brands include REHAU, Liniar, Profile 22, VEKA, Deceuninck, ATLAS aluminium, Universal Composite Doors, Ultraframe, Korniche and Hup.

Shop by style

Looking for a particular look? Browse by style, such as flush casement, heritage sculptured or bevelled profile, timber-look, slimline aluminium or contemporary, and we’ll show you every system that delivers it.

More than a trade counter: the support that keeps your jobs moving

We know your time on site is what pays. So we’ve built our service around taking the hassle out of everything else.

Expert advice and technical support

The widest choice from an independent trade counter

We’re not tied to one manufacturer, so you’re not either. Choose from the widest choice of profiles, systems and products from an independent trade counter, and match the right product to every customer and every budget without shopping around.

The installers’ choice, with buying power to match

We buy over 8,000 frames and sealed units every week. That volume keeps our prices sharp and our supply chain reliable, even when the market is under pressure. You get the benefit of national buying power, with the personal service of your local depot.

No warehouse needed: we store it until you need it

Forget renting a unit or filling your garage with frames. Once your order is made, we’ll hold it safely at your depot until you’re ready to fit, then deliver it or have it ready to collect.

Free skip use

Take the cost and hassle out of waste. Account customers can use our depot skips free of charge for non-hazardous waste from jobs using products bought from SevenDay. Conditions apply (see below).

Old frame recycling

Bring back the old frames you remove and we’ll recycle them for you. That means less waste to landfill, less for you to dispose of, and a greener story to tell your customers.

Free delivery to site

Need your frames on site rather than at the yard? We offer free delivery to site at a time to suit you, so you can head straight to the job.

Homeowners regularly contact us looking for a trusted installer. We recommend our regular, reputable trade account holders in their area, either by giving the homeowner your details or, with the homeowner’s agreement, by passing their details to you so you can call and quote directly.

  • Waste must come from an installation that uses products bought from SevenDay.
  • Only non-hazardous waste is accepted, such as old window and door frames, glass, packaging and general installation waste.
  • Hazardous waste is not accepted, including asbestos or materials suspected to contain asbestos, chemicals, paint, plasterboard and household waste (limited soil or rubble).
  • Waste must be taken to your local depot during opening hours and placed where depot staff direct. No un-supervised waste dropping allowed.
  • We may refuse waste, or ask you to remove it, if it does not meet these conditions, and we may withdraw the service if they are not followed.

Installers Hub FAQs

Who can use the SevenDay depots?

The depots are designed with the window and door installers in mind, as well as builders and other trade professionals. Anyone can buy from our depots, but regular trade account holders can get credit terms (subject to status and trading history), trade pricing, free skip use and access to customer leads.

Do you only sell one brand of window?

No. SevenDay is an independent trade counter, so we supply systems from several leading manufacturers, including REHAU, Liniar, Profile 22, VEKA, Deceuninck and ATLAS aluminium. That gives you the widest choice for every job.

Can you store my order until I’m ready to fit?

Yes. Once your order is ready, we can hold it at your local depot until you need it, so you don’t need your own warehouse. Storage charges may apply to goods held for longer periods (over 2 months), in line with our conditions of sale.

Do you deliver to site?

Yes. We offer free delivery to site. Talk to your local depot to arrange a delivery slot.

Can I use your skips for waste from my jobs?

Trade account customers can use our depot skips free of charge for non-hazardous waste from installations using products bought from SevenDay. We can’t accept hazardous waste such as asbestos.

Do you recycle old windows?

Yes. Bring back the old frames you remove and we’ll recycle them, subject to our recycling conditions.

How do customer leads work?

When homeowners contact us looking for a trusted installer, we introduce them to our regular reputable trade account holders in their area. We either give the homeowner your details, or, with the homeowner’s agreement, pass their details to you so you can call and quote directly.

What are your trade account payment terms?

Approved trade accounts with good history/track record are normally on 14-day terms from the date of invoice, unless agreed otherwise. Customers without an account pay a 50% deposit when ordering and the balance before delivery or collection. Full details are on our trading terms page.
